Fountainhead Towers has a personality, and a lot of that comes from the people who run it. The longtime on-site manager, Amare, somehow seems to know absolutely everything happening in the building at all times, and that level of involvement shows.

While most of the floorplans are traditional 1 & 2 bedroom layouts, the penthouse level is where this building has some surprises in store, including a nearly 3600sq foot two-story penthouse that a client of mine is currently renovating, making it one of the nicest, largest, and most upgraded Penthouses in Ocean City!

Fountainhead Towers is complimented by an outdoor pool, sun deck and tennis courts, but amenities aren’t really the headline here. Design and functionality are. Owners and renters both seem to enjoy that about the building.

Another thing many people don’t realize is that Fountainhead Towers isn’t the only “Fountainhead” building on the site. There are a few (much smaller) Fountainhead buildings located in front of the tower. They were built first and each has its own separate association.

Fountainhead Towers appeals to buyers who appreciate a well-run building with character and a layout that offers flexibility and the benefit of having two private balconies for each residence.

Pro Tip: This is one of Ocean City’s original high-rise buildings, and it offers a layout you don’t see very often. Every residence has a private, gated bayside balcony on the rear of the building, in addition to the oceanfront balconies on the front. That dual-exposure design gives owners two private balconies to choose from, depending on the time of day, weather, or season.
