Sunset Island has a much deeper history than most people realize. Long before it became the community we know today, it was raw undeveloped land that locals referred to as Holland Island. My father, Mark Fritschle, was involved in the sale of the land that ultimately became Sunset Island, so I’ve been part of its evolution from the very beginning.

What many people don’t know is that the development team, Ryan/NV and Nutelli Homes, modeled the community after Truman’s Annex in Key West. That influence shows in the layout, the variety of housing types, the colors, and the way the community is designed to feel (both contained and vibrant).

Sunset Island offers a wide range of properties. There are more affordable condo-style residences, townhomes, and higher-end single-family homes. Prices can vary dramatically depending on the property style, where a property sits on the island, the views, exposure, size, and proximity to amenities.
