Nestled in the Sunset Marina, you'll find Sunset Grille- a West Ocean City staple, offering a lively yet relaxed atmosphere with panoramic harbor views. The menu features fresh seafood, from crab cakes to steaks, and of course, the chicken Chesapeake (our favorite)!
Their craft cocktails and perfect wine list make it ideal for special occasions. With a 4.3 rating from over 1,200 TripAdvisor reviews, visitors love the “vibrant vibe and top-notch service.” Reservations are a must, especially during peak summer months.

2. Harborside Bar & Grill
Located in the heart of West Ocean City, and just down the street from Sunset Grille is Harborside. If this restaurant sounds familiar, it probably is! Why? It's the home of the original Orange Crush! While we could stop there because that's reason enough to visit, their food is just as delicious as their crush. Harborside features seafood classics like steamed shrimp while also having unique takes on other seafood, like their Spicy Cajun Mahi! Its rave reviews praise the laid-back atmosphere, views, and as all the locals know, happy hour & live music.

3. The Shark on the Harbor
Another restaurant just down the street from Sunset Grille is the Shark on the Harbor, one of our favorite waterfront places to dine in not just West OC, but in Ocean City as a whole. This restaurant offers a farm-to-table experience, sourcing seafood and produce from local waters and farms.
A few of our favorites at what we call "The Shark" include their famous Duck confit and their crab-stuffed-tempura-avocado. The Sharks drink menu has some amazing local craft brews. Lastly, the Sharks reviews speak for themselves. Do yourself a favor and visit the Shark the next time you're in West Ocean City!

4. Smoker’s BBQ Pit
Smoker’s BBQ Pit is a locally owned, family-operated haven for meat lovers, serving up tender brisket, pulled pork, and ribs slathered in house-made sauces. They serve the best BBQ in our area hands down. Moving on, the family-friendly setting makes it perfect for laid-back lunches or dinners with any group of loved ones. A few of our favorite dishes include the bacon wrapped jalapenos, the "Smokers BBQ Burger," and quite literally any of their family deal meals. *Watch out for their seasonal crab-cake specials. When they have them, run (don’t walk) to get them before they sell out! We must admit, it was hard to pick favorites because you truly can't go wrong at Smoker's.

5. Sello’s Italian Oven & Bar
Last, but CERTAINLY not least is Sellos. Tucked away in West Ocean City, Sello’s is a cozy haven for Italian cuisine, serving wood-fired pizzas, homemade pastas, and classics everyone loves like chicken parm. The warm, intimate setting and attentive service make you feel right at home. It’s an ideal spot for a romantic evening or a quiet dinner with family & friends.
