Makai has one of the more interesting transformation stories in Ocean City.

The building was originally a branded hotel that eventually closed its doors. A development team purchased it and reimagined it as a luxury bayfront condominium, intentionally offering smaller residences paired with a very strong amenity package. It was an instant hit.
